Tomorrow marks the final day of the TRANSFUSION art exhibition in @chqdublin. It’s curated with beautiful, poignant and thought-provoking art by members of Ireland’s trans community. The exhibition narrates stories and perspectives that we should have always told, learned from and listened to. Two of my highlights include a portrait of Aoife Martin, an extraordinary activist who has taught me so much. And the #2500WomenPlusMe mural. It was such a privilege to spend time with Sara Phillips, Chair of the Trans Equality Network of Ireland (TENI), as she brought me through the exhibition. . . If you can, please visit the exhibition before the closes. If you’re in a position to give monies or volunteer, @tenipics and @belongtoyouthservices would greatly benefit from your support. . . Happy Pride! Trans rights are human rights. . . [Image description: Standing with Sara in front of an incredible mural by Aidan Comerford, photographs of 2500 women are assembled together to create a visual representation of the trans flag. My phone is sticking out of my ass pocket... as always.] 📷 @petervargaphoto
