Homemade Chicken Sausage Paella for tea tonight. 4 Richmond Chicken Sausages, 150g of jasmine rice cooked in chicken OXO stock cube. Roasted 1 red & 1 green pepper and 2 small red onions , 8 button mushrooms. Cup of sweetcorn and 30g of broccoli. Bake sausages in a hot oven for 25 minutes. Place 200ml chicken stock, 2 tsps of garlic granules & hot paprika in a wok and bring to the boil, add roasted veg once cooked. When sausages are cooked chop into pieces & add to the stock. Then drain the rice & add the rice to the mixture. So this weekend I finally managed to get a meal plan together so I could do a full shop. I decided to add the Bolognese Pasta Bake from @slimmingeats into my meal plan, and I’m very pleased I did! Super tasty, syn free when using your HeA and nice for the cold weather too. Served with plenty speedy veg to go with it. ✨Weight-In😱 One week ago I weight myself I was 246.3Lb. I detoxed my body for 3 days I lost 7.1Lb. Today it’s been a week since I started this journey and have lost a total of 10.4Lb. Bringing me to 235.9Lb.🤗 ℱ𝒾𝓇𝓈𝓉 𝓌𝑒𝑒𝓀: This week has been all about decisions and dedication. From deciding what to eat, the portions, and what type of exercise to start with. To learning to say No to certain foods and drinks, and introducing my body to exercise again and motivating myself to not give up every time I feel like I can’t do it. They say the first week is always the hardest week. For me it has always been like that every time I decide to lose weight but this time it feels different I feel Great! I feel like I rocked it this week yes I struggled this week with the exercise, but I didn’t let that stop me I kept pushing myself and at the end of the day I felt Great! Great that I didn’t give up, great that I accomplished what I was aiming for! Ma quanto è buona la zucca? 😍 stasera l'ho preparata con macinato di tacchino e formaggio spalmabile! Facile, veloce e buonissima ! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ • 1/2 zucca baby • 100g di macinato di tacchino • prezzemolo • sale e pepe • olio extravergine d'oliva • paprika • formaggio spalmabile • • Lavate la zucca e scavate all'interno per eliminare la parte più morbida e i semi. Ponetela su una teglia con carta forno. Condite con olio evo e paprika. Cuocete per 20 minuti a 200°. Nel frattempo in una padella cuocete il macinato di tacchino con del prezzemolo tritato, sale e pepe. My absolute favorite thing about this lifestyle is that number one: I did it for myself! I didn’t do it for my husband. I didn’t do it to show out for anybody. I did it for me. And you want to know how I know that? Because it isn’t about having six pack abs or having flat gut big butt (even though those things are a nice benefit) it’s not about that. I hardly ever get on the scale to track my weight unless I go to the doctor and that’s the truth! The scale is a liar and honey I don’t need that negativity in my life. It’s not about any of that! Number 2: I love this lifestyle because it’s completely up to me. I will say it again It’s up to me! Since I don’t do this for anyone but myself what other people think or say has no effect on me anymore. I can be honest when I’m killing my nutrition and my workouts and I can be honest when I’m not because it’s up to me. I have freedom from food and where I used to dread working out I honestly look forward to it..(most days). My change is absolutely mental and personal to me. It’s way more than a before and after and it’s way more than weight lost. I’m happier. I’m healthier. I’m better. And I did it for myself and I’m dang proud of it too♥️♥️ • • • Find out why you want to change and do it. If it’s 100% because you want a physical change then girlfriend go for it! The Stomach meridian or “The Sea of Nourishment”, I personally believe this is the most important channel to keep on track and healthy. Many Chinese medical doctors believe that if there is not balance in the middle Jiao (Stomach and Spleen; Earth elements) then the body cannot be completely healthy. Our digestion can tell us a lot about our internal health, poor dysfunction of the Stomach will manifest as excessive burping, vomiting, acid reflux, abdominal distention and pain. The Stomach channel is responsible for extracting the vital energy “Qi” from our food and fluids and teams up with the Spleen to send off Qi to the rest of the body. Spiritually the Stomach is associated with how we perceive new ideas, absorb information and taking care of our selves. A few tricks to take extra care your Stomach on an everyday basis: chew your food as much as possible, prepare your food with love, relax while eating meals, avoid TV/heavy conversations that may cause stress while eating and eat a protein packed breakfast between 7am-9am. This is the time of the Stomach and should be at peak function during this time of morning.
