a lot of people can get confused about how to pick oils to diffuse together, so I’m going to break it down a bit, it’s 100% simple. you can pair oils together that address your wellbeing on all levels: mind, body & soul. as your diffuser disperses EOs directly into the air you breathe...those plant juicesi are not only purifying your home’s air...we are wired in a way that aromas trigger emotions & memories. “the postage stamp-sized olfactory lobe, which is in charge of smell, is also part of the limbic system, which manages emotions and long-term memories.” FREAKING COOL!
HOW TO PICK A DIFFUSER BLEND:
okay so the key is to choose a diffuser blend based on your wellness need. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. HOW DO YOU WANT TO FEEL
ask yourself - “how am i feeling?” 👉🏼 “would you benefit from access to more energy? more focus, calm or rest? boosted immune system? the good news is: there’s a diffuser blend for that. follow your mood, your wellness & your nose to the blend best suited to helping you meet that need” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. PICK YOUR OILS
oils are SO versatile. ex: lavender can help you sleep AND help you focus. AND remember - everybody’s bodies are different, so this is where you want use intuition & good ole trial & error. take the lids off, & hold the bottles up to your nose to get a whiff & see if it suits you!
here’s a little cheat sheet of oils by category:
⋒ CALM: lavender, stress away, northern lights, palo santo, white angelica
⋒ FOCUS: frankincense, rosemary, vetiver, orange, Geneyus blend ⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ ENERGY: peppermint, citrus oils, basil, geranium
⋒ HAPPY: any citrus oil, Joy blend, Valor, spearmint, Inner Child ⠀⠀⠀⠀
⋒ WELL: thieves, raven, oregano, frankincense
⋒ REST: chamomile, cedarwood, Dream Catcher blend, patchouli ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. CHOOSE THE RATIO OF DROPS
it’s important to think about the aroma strength of the oils you’ve picked! if one aroma is very powerful, you would not want to blend equal amounts bc it’ll overtake the others. great example of this is rosemary is STRONG & will overpower lavender.
i really hope this helps! 💕 feel free to tag people that would
