Some quick insight into my life—
Just over 1 year ago, I went through one of the most challenging times a person can face in life. Without getting into detail, this resulted in the tearing apart of my being.
My entire life, I have prized myself as a confident, independent, strong, caring, person with a very clear vision of who I am as an imperfect individual.
However this time last year, I no longer knew who I was, what I wanted, how to get through day to day life, and felt like a stranger in my own skin simply going through the actions of daily life as an actress of the person was before.
I felt so off track, I had been completely enveloped by my anxiety & was honestly ready to surrender to it all & accept that my anxiety was my new being & accepting I was incapable of social life, working a normal job, or going to the gym all out of fear.
Then in December 2018, I reached out to a friend who had been living abroad. I connected with her & found that same sense of being had been stolen from her but was in the works of being rebuilt.
I took an opportunity that came across my path. One where I could truly give up my mundane, ordinary life in order to focus my energy on Self-Development, reading, travelling, breathing, going for walks, spending time working on nothing but ME, without needing to sacrifice this time to others, or to 8+ hours spent at a office worrying about other people which had become a life habit, blurring my vision of my own sense of self.
My point is, next time you judge someone for working their online business, pause a moment & remind yourself, you have no idea what they are getting out of it, or why they decided to start their business.
It's been almost one year since I started this remarkable journey. It is not perfect, I am very slow at it, but why am I still here? Because this opportunity has truly given me a chance to build the best possible version of myself & has brought me support, love, & confidence along the way. The best way to describe what I do for work? Self-development with a paycheck.
Thank you @monatofficial for this insane opportunity, allowing me to help not only myself but so many others!
