This topic is a little different than the other 5 I’ve been talking about when it comes to easing difficult symptoms of endometriosis, autoimmune conditions, and other chronic invisible illnesses, but it’s important to address.
Our emotions, our stress levels, our level of happiness and fulfillment with our lives - these can all affect your physical health more than you may realize!
I know that when you’re struggling with a chronic illness, it can be extremely hard on your spirit and your level of contentment with your life. I know, I’ve been there. I will speak on this particular aspect more in future posts.
Know that part of the journey is accepting where you are, wherever you are right now. Things can shift and change, and the more you can adjust your perspective on your life to go along with the changes, the less stress your mind and spirit will have to struggle with, which can have big impacts on your physical health.
But the 1st step to consider here is just having awareness that your emotions and stress, and whether you deal with them or not, HOW you deal with them, and what you do to manage and regulate them is a very important piece of the puzzle in terms of how your body functions - including your immune system, hormones, metabolism, and so much more.
Have a look at the video I posted to get a better understanding about what I mean. ❓How’s your level of awareness about your stress and emotions and their impact on your physical health? If you feel comfortable sharing, I’d love to know your insights, if this is a new realization, and if not, what’s your favourite way to embrace YOUR emotions?
